Victoria Sdralis, Ph.D.

This blog is for my beautiful mother Victoria Sdralis

My mother Victoria Sdralis is the wife of my father Peter Sdralis - Ph.D. in Computer Science.

My family lived in Palo Alto, CA, and have just moved to the Chicago suburbs.

My mom is a lawyer, have a Ph.D. in Law from Standford University, has worked for a large legal firm, and has taught at a local university in California. When my 3rd younger sister was in first grade, my mother felt inspired to homeschool; she now joyfully homeschool her three youngest children, ages 14, 10, and 4. Thomas Jefferson Education (TJEd) have transformed her homeschool environment. She enjoys sharing the joy of TJEd with the community. She taught workshops at an California State homeschool conference, mentors parents who were new to TJEd, and mentored young adults in TJEd clubs. She has assisted club members with their studies of classic literature, American government and the Constitution, International law, and math and science.

She can speak and write fluently French, Greek, Norwegian, and Chinese. For her personal study time, she loves to study the scriptures, classic literature, and Greek. She also enjoys many crafts, crocheting, and drawing on silk (Chinese style). She also plays piano. She is also the happy grandma of an adorable 3-year-old who is from me.
